Many kids these days think dinner arrives via a stranger with a bag at the door. When I was a kid & the doorbell rang, if it wasn’t one of my friends, it was either the paperboy collecting, the Avon Lady, the Fuller Brush man, or a guy selling encyclopedias or Electrolux vacuum cleaners. 👵🏻

Imo, Edmonton needs to have official bike counter signs like this one. I’d even donate to one. I remember being in awe when I saw my first counter in Victoria years ago & being awestruck at the number of cyclists recorded (which meant less people in cars) & that was before I even owned a bike!

Lots of diff styles on the market. Visit your local bike shop & learn what makes one diff from another. Both of my e-bikes are pedal assist…I HAVE to pedal. Some e-bikes have throttles, some even have their power “kick in” automatically. When you find one that feels comfy, that’s the one for you!
My ebike changed my life. It enabled me to cycle for years ahead of my hip replacement & continues to bring me great joy being able to keep up with Mr Uptown on his zippy lightweight analog road bike.
