I’m probably not going to be homeless. But it’s not exactly ideal that I be sleeping on my parent’s couch.
I am at a complete loss as to what to do. I need somewhere to live.
I make plenty of money to rent a few different apartments nearby, but I don’t have any actual proof of that income because I’m entirely freelance. But all of that is moot anyway, because of my awful credit score.
Well, back to SadPosting. The apartment I had line up fell through. I don't have good enough proof of income or good enough credit to rent anywhere and I don't know anyone in my family who is financially stable enough to be a cosigner. Additionally, I do not know anyone who has a room/apt to rent. 👍

I feel, genuinely, that it has eroded our humanity, and if you don't feel disgusted seeing someone die on a random internet clip, you might have to log off for a bit and examine some things. I'm don't know why the Charlie Kirk thing grossed me out so much given how many people I've seen die online.
I think that's a good thing for what it's worth. We, as humans, should be shocked by violence and the depersonalized footage we see online every single day of Gaza, Ukraine, mass shootings, and deaths of podcasters should make us feel sick. Easily accessible death on demand has done untold damage.
SERIOUS POST: Ever since I started my mental health journey in earnest about a year ago, my tolerance for seeing violence has basically vanished. I have no stomach for it anymore to the point where I can't play Grand Theft Auto or watch a Quentin Tarantino movie without getting queasy.

I think it's maybe a problem with food that's marketed as vegetarian as opposed to food that just happens to not have any meat in it.
My friend and his family I've been living with eat mostly vegetarian. I have absolutely no philosophical qualms with that & I totally sympathize with people who don't eat meat for dietary or ethical reasons. But why does vegetarian food mostly suck? It's a lot of flavorless food that isn't filling.
I've been shooting subsonics out of my Henry Golden Boy and it might be the most fun I've had shooting in a while. The Golden Boy's barrel is long and heavy enough that it makes basically no noise. It might be the best plinking rifle ever.
