Marines protect the nation and defend the Constitution. They don't get involved in domestic issues and they don't have allegiance to an individual, certainly not one who blatantly violates the Constitution they are sworn to protect.
Everything is a war and an emergency. It gets rid of that pesky due process stuff written in the Constitution. The Constitution keeps on getting in the way of our leaders who swore to uphold it and protect it from all enemies, foreign and domestic.
