Think about WHY the De Minimis Exemption exists. If it takes CBP $15 worth of their time to collect a $2 tariff on a small item you bought off of Temu, AliExpress, Amazon, or eBay from a foreign seller, then the U.S. government LOSES money. Formerly, if it was less than $800, it was exempt.

I'm scared that a huge issue is not being aware: On Aug 29th the US is removing the de minimis rule on all packages. Being international, de minimis meant no one payed tariffs on my goods since it was under $800. Now there will be a $80-200 fee to receive my art. Even for a $5 sticker. 🔸(1/4)
