Everything went to hell around the spring equinox, so flipping back to normal on the cusp of the autumn equinox checks out.
I also can't tell if it's the hormones hormoning or if my antidepressants are taking the edge off, but the brain fog is a little better the last couple of days. Nowhere near normal, but closer to tolerable
I don't know if it's the perimenopause continuing to kick my ass or the pre-8pm sunsets doing me in but I am going to bed. It's not even 2am? Just as suddenly as my sleep schedule went to hell it's back to (almost) normal

so, if any of us are interpreting this right, and it's a really big shrug emoji until it's put to the test, the theory is if i publish it in canada only and then later do worldwide/US, it will not be a US work. i'm also registering canadian copyright
according to the bit that courtney cites, if something is published simultaneously in the US and elsewhere, it counts as a US work, and is thus fucked for the anthropic US lawsuit and any others that look like it, unless you also had US copyright registered.

Some days in this industry can be really rough. I don’t give a lot of advice, but in this case I have some. Rather than dwell on your shitty situation, find another writer or creative and share their work or fundraiser or whatever. Or find some other way to pay it forward. Always helps. 🩷

Yes, that was something DiAngelo talked about in her book. How in her workshops, when someone got called out and threw a tantrum, several people would defend that person and call the presenter a bully for being so mean to their wonderful coworker. The workshop would basically end there

I have been seeing people say we should stop giving Audra attention. But the thing is what she is doing is shaking the credibility of the Indie author community. People like Audra and Britt Andrews are making it that much harder to crowd source because now readers are skeptical of every campaign.
