I know what you mean. I can spend $40aud and get a case of Blokees Defenders or one Hasbro deluxe - I'll take a bundle of cute mini TFs any day of the week. Hasbro's price increases and multi Combiner releases have made it all a bit too much.

Watched it earlier this year (after several failed attempts in years gone by). Some very haunting imagery and another excellent horror performance from Sam Neill. Definitely in the upper echelon of the Carpenter filmography.
Having only seen the Green Mile from that quartet I'd say that one. Grave of the Fireflies will trigger anyone. Anything with characters separated by time dilation (eg Interstellar) makes me emotional.
Yesterday on Thursday 18/9 NSW came very close to breaking the 5gw barrier on small scale solar. If home/small business installation remains strong they could potentially go beyond 5gw this spring/summer, only needing another 142mw to reach 5gw.

Yeah I'm not overly convinced by initial pics. Does he fit with CC Rumble and Frenzy? Ravage is ok, the birds somehow look worse than their siege/NF counterparts. Need to see him alongside other SS86 figs as well.

Bandai are usually so good at doing Super Deformed stuff but the Block Cross kits just look like a soulless and cynical attempt to hitch a ride on the Blokees train.
One of the bleakest films this year, well anchored by Cooper Hoffman and David Jonsson. Perhaps the most terrifying aspect is the feeling that the current US of A isn't so far from the one the young men walk through.

The Baby Raiders 2.0 cop a shellacking from a riotous 'Phins outfit 62-24. The longstanding rule that no team who concedes 50 points in a game is about to be put to the test.
Wave 4 of Blokees Defender series assembled. I'll get them into the studio in the next few weeks (still need to photograph Wave 3 😵💫). Characters in this one all look great and all the four vehicle modes are surprisingly charming - Wheeljack has a working bonnet! I got the shiny chase dino-Grimlock.
Balrog is quite the choice of name.

I saw Jaws on the big screen last night (another tick on the cinema bucket list). It's interesting how little details stand out - Mayor Larry Vaughn is already considered the second antagonist of the film, but then you see the sign on his car saying "Vaughn Realty" you realise he's an estate agent.
