My building manager in Bangkok was a Swiftie. TS took a big bribe from Singapore to do all her SEA concerts there. So my poor building manager is trying to afford to get there. Can't afford a hotel in SG so is asking for help to find places in Malaysia and daily transport. IDK, felt a bit callous

I lived in the US for 2 years in the '80s. Never really felt unsafe. Even when I inadvertently wandered into a supposedly crime-ridden black neighborhood. I asked for directions and was given them. And a chocolate chip cookie. The amount of homelessness was shocking though These days? Yeah, nah.
