I am sorry people are learning how violent this country is, but a switch was not just flipped this year.
What we are seeing is how Black folks have been policed in this country for centuries, in some form of other. There is constant anxiety. Black men scared of being killed—& what no one mentions (except a few social scientists) is the threat of police SA-ing Black women & girls. So, now you know.
I don't know how to tell people on Bluesky that yes, you actually *do* need Black people on board for all your political and social aims. You literally can't go around us, cancel us, or ignore us. Every time y'all do, everyone suffers.

brown runs a HUGE proportion of all medical services in the state. this presumably applies to brown university's health services broadly. this could cut off a lot of children with no real affiliation with the university
"Reports." Like reports of bias against white men. Students give lower evaluation for black folk and black women. Course evaluation have always been popularity contests and darn useless as assessment tools.
