Sec Buttigieg - Is there a US sponsored (or sanctioned) Ukraine fund - something that would represent US citizens? Similar to "A Gift for Putin Fund" who recently bought a Blackhawk Heli. I know there are intl funds, but feel it's important for US citizens to show the world we stand for Ukraine.

I live in southern coastal Maine. I'm sure local hotels will feel the CA boycott (summer bookings). They'll complain to COC and Sen Collins ("I'm concerned..."). I know this is not a temp backlash but paradigm shift how CA regards the US going fwd - regardless of next election.

Does it make more sense to protest in front of every Sen Collins office in the State? She's enabling Trump out of fear of right wing primary. Show her that's the least of her worries. In the face of absolute loss, maybe she would resign.
This is great. But shouldn't we protest in front of every GOP House/Senate office in the nation, regardless of Red or Blue State? They're enabling Trump due to primary threats, show them the general election matters more.
Since GOP is shaming MX/CA on trade deficits, House Dems need to stand up and call out states having net- negative Fed tax revenue to expenditures ratio. Use the upcoming bill debate (captive audience), bring lots of graphs...

In our defense, the Dems backed a weak candidate and an Indy candidate in 2020 . It's about candidate quality. Sen King ran against a Dem, GOP and Indy candidate - still won 50% of the vote. Let's not cast an entire state for one election. Sen Snowe, William Cohen and George Mitchell were all gold

Agreed. Rather than wasting time with rational arguments or pointing out hypocrisy, use their ideology against them. They continue to vote/act against their best interests (anti-vax, cutting FEMA etc). Let them "de-fund' themselves while building up blue states.
Use the "States Rights" arguments against the GOP. Co-sponsor a bill to dismantle FEMA (states take care of their own). Another bill for state net neutral Fed spending (end blue states subsidizing red states). The GOP may adhere with ideology against their best interests. Red State Paradox on roids.
