in my opinion, you have to start from the beginning. revolution requires bloodshed; the White Army and the Mensheviks can tell you as much. no, the best place to start a command economy is right at the beginning of your nation.
but setting aside all that, let's look at the feasibility. how do you get there, in a practical sense? do you have the means, the members, the resources? do you have enough competent people to enact it? what will you do about any opposition?
the reason I say this is because all the various economic models and opinions and systems lose sight of the actual human element. they deal with theoretical numbers on so many scraps of paper, and actual humanity isn't considered.
which highlights the one big question: what good will it do for the people? corporatism has proven to be bad for the people, and the current conditions of the United States proves this. would a planned economy end up that much better for the people in the long run? if so, how?
another example: Leo goes to the market because he's out of his favorite coffee. when Leo arrives his favorite coffee is totally out of stock. turns it the Secretary of Economics has ordered an end to the production of Leo's favorite coffee. now Leo is sad.
for example: Leo is a longshoreman, worked on the docks 15 years, loves to do it, etc. one day the Secretary of Economics orders that more people are needed as truck drivers. Leo gets picked, but he doesn't want to be a truck driver, has no drivers license, etc. what happens to Leo?
I will say one benefit is that people will be able to work and ply their trades, but two questions arise: 1) what incentivizes a possible necessary of going beyond "meeting quota"; 2) what of the people who don't want to switch assigned careers in case of a surplus/deficit in workers
