For what itās worth I think you do a great job providing detailed descriptions of your spiders without trying to make them either appealing or unappealing intrinsically, we just learn the language used to describe them and grow more accustomed to the way the look and behave as we read
My current thoughts on the NSO Playtest. LOVE it. Every time I log on it feels like I have a fun experience or find something new. The only thing that feels like itās stopping me from enjoying myself is that I know itās only for one more week. Oh and also the notifications are dumb. Very distracting

My thinking exactly. Splatoon feels like itās embraced its musical oddities a little more elegantly to me, but I feel like for what itās going for, Rockstocks music is REALLY good at its job. Makes me feel like Iām working construction with a whole planet
Those tracks forcibly remind me of those āstyle demosā on electronic instruments to give you a clue as to what itās capable of. God I hope someone cracks how to make the Rockstock voice in a synth because I would love to make my own music with it
Iām rambling but to me itās so endearing. I can clearly imagine devmind putting some little cavemen in a job that just requires them sing to music. I feel like this game doesnāt have super deep lore, but what is here is genuinely so lovely. Wholesome terraforming operation is such a good concept

I have a theory that the diegetic planetary block music in Rockstock is, in lore, comprised of pre-made tracks designed to cover a lot of genres and then the player characters are encouraged to sing along like karaoke.
Side note but from like a historical perspective (I know) THIS IS SO COOL. I GOT TO DOCUMENT WHAT IT WAS LIKE BEFORE ANYONE KNEW AND NOW I GET TO ACTUALLY DO IT MYSELF BEFORE MOST PEOPLE GET TO
