Over 3 weeks ago I covered how they agreed to data sharing with this regime’s proposed health surveillance database of individuals, and now, the Dept of Defense just became their largest client. In addition, be wary of sharing data with health tracking apps and devices in general. Especially now.
I recommend against using the tracking wearable, Oura. Consider downloading your data for yourself, and requesting the deletion of your data and account from Oura.
Also, be wary of a flood of email and call scams and threats. They may even share your SSN to intimidate you. Be vigilant and do not engage with them.
If you have been following me, you have already done a credit freeze at the major credit bureaus for some protection measures against further identity abuse there.
As I warned would happen back in January, with the reports of social security numbers uploaded by DOGE to an unsecured server, our data is exposed.

Immigrants. Black and brown people. Trans people. Disabled people. Poor people. Everyday people who want liberation. Police are the problem. Abolish the police.
People that police murder: Ride-share drivers. Joggers. Children holding candy. People sleeping in their own bed. People sitting in their own yard. People standing on the sidewalk. People answering their phone. People opening their own door. Women who call for help.
To combat the active concealment, we must be active in our pursuit of revelation.
Ban facial recognition surveillance and biometric theft ENTIRELY.
Williams shared that the only similarities were that they were both Black men with locs. The NYPD has been obtaining its databases from unauthorized sources and has used facial recognition to misidentify and arrest the wrong person on multiple occasions.
Recently, Trevis Williams was falsely arrested and placed in jail for two days by the NYPD based on misidentification by facial recognition. Williams was miles away from the scene in Union Square and is 8 inches shorter and 70 pounds less than the man they were seeking.
It is especially harmful to immigrants, Black and brown, trans, disabled, and poor people. Surveillance criminalizes everyone. Ban biometric theft and surveillance.
Facial and biometric recognition surveillance should be banned. Entirely and completely. Continuing to use technology that has, time and time again, surfaced its racist, ableist, and classist foundations is lethal for everyone.
There are countless alternatives to Big Tech, ones that allow us to slow down, feel back into ourselves, and reach out. Ones that allow us to be us, with each other.
When you understand NO ONE needs Big Tech, you are that much more free. No one needs Apple, Microsoft, Amazon, OpenAI, Palantir, Google, Meta, Spotify, Netflix, or any company that steals our data, breaches our privacy, and exploits the land and all living beings.
The other day I gave a workshop in Korean to a Kpop group, about anti-Blackness in Kpop, but also in culture and politics in general. I have been doing anti-oppression work with different Kpop groups for many years, and there is always so much work to do. 열심히 하자꾸나!
Many platforms are actively intentionally suppressing and censoring how incredible we are in community. We are in rooms, with breaths, on ships, in streets, in private chat groups, around neighborhoods, and in hearts. Be with each other, beloveds. Now more than ever.

This marks the first time in south Korean history that both people in an ex-presidential couple will be simultaneously jailed. Anyway, did you know that presidents, their family, and associates can be jailed for declaring martial law and financial fraud? Imagine that.
Both the ex-president Yoon Suk Yeol and ex-First Lady Kim Keon Hee of South Korea are under arrest. Yoon was arrested earlier this year, for declaring martial law. Kim’s arrest warrant was just issued this week for stock manipulation, bribery, and more.
Be ready for apps and sites you visit regularly, particularly social media, music, video, and news sites, to suddenly lock you out unless you submit to their nefarious surveillance. Download, screenshot, archive, and backup anything you want to save. Protect your privacy.
The increasing spread of “age verification” laws to access websites, is leading to many sites blocking access unless users allow themselves to be doxed by giving up your biometrics and/or other personal information.
Protect the wisdom protectors. The journalists, librarians, teachers, educators, documentarians, caretakers, creators, artists, elders, writers, history recorders, and archivists. Empire will always go after those that tell the truth. Protect the wisdom protectors. Be a wisdom protector.
And may all paths be open to the people of Palestine with no surveillance, no check points, no bombs, no genocide, and no Empire. Free Palestine forever.
May the wearers of keffiyehs be protected. May Palestinians again be able to fish, swim, and rest in their waters. May olive groves thrive once again on the land for generations.
Google, Flo, and data analytics firm, Flurry, settled prior. Meta proceeded to trial, and a jury just concluded that they tapped in on and violated Flo users’ privacy globally. Not all apps are always trying to steal your data, but most of them do. And Big Tech always does.
Meta and Google, in league with period tracking app Flo, shared and violated Flo users’ data. It goes without saying, that not only is this illegal, but it breaches privacy, and puts people at profound risk.
Many devices, other than the obvious phones, can also transmit trackable signals. These can include smart ear buds, headphones, smart glasses, key fobs, location tags, watches, and health wearables. No need to carry everything with you everywhere. Don’t leave breadcrumbs when you don’t need to.

Palestinians in Gaza are being violently starved by the governments and corporations of the countries in which we reside, in a continuing genocide. Those of us in the Imperial Core must rattle the very system we are within. End the siege. End the occupation. LandBack. End Empire. Free Palestine.

The United States is a failed experiment. The United States was a temporary experiment for a false “democracy” that turned into an experiment on all of its people. But the experiment has failed. And the experimenters are flailing. The test subjects have awoken and are fully aware.

What, this past week, made you finally understand, that the years before that did not? I ask not because I want to know from you, but because I need you to know for yourself. So that next time it will not take you this long. So that you will never be this late. So you will never hesitate again.
Why could the world not listen when the first person suffered? The first flotilla left? When you saw the first image? Of starvation, bombs? Elders wailing, trees bulldozed, rubble and dust, small bodies in pieces, endless fleeing, families ended, tears, and death?
Our everyday life must also change. From how we buy, eat, speak, and think. We must already be severing our ties to Empire’s influence, to have any expectation that Empire can be severed. It will not just fall, we must make it fall. Build and be ready, because we are within it, too right now.
The United States Empire is in the business of genocides. It has built a world where killing and controlling people makes up its economy. For these genocides to end, the United States, as we know it, must also be ended. From its militarism to commerce to corporations to enforcement.

Woman of the Global Majority, in particular, recognize this, because it is felt in interactions from white people and men, every single day. We know. False power’s time is always finite. People power is what ends Empires and oppression. We know.

While Palantir has one of the largest contracts with the Department of Defense well over $1 billion, OpenAI, Google, xAI, and Anthropic have also just inked contracts of $200 million each.

An update about a post I shared about a California farmworkers strike (Huelga para la Dignidad) yesterday, which I have since deleted. The United Farm Workers union is not involved with this, which makes me question whether this is actually being shared communally amongst the entire community.

The queerest thing we can do is fight for liberation. Truly. Part of building is mobilizing. That means uplifting the people that work to uplift us, it means reaching out to connect and collaborate, and it means being so queer that we show everyone what liberation can bring.
Early voting is October 25 to November 2, and Election Day is November 4. If you haven’t marked it already, 2025 is a year of upheaval and breakthrough, and it will be from beginning to finish. Let’s use that momentum to transform everything.

It is when we all show up in all of the ways we can, that we break their rules and conditions for oppression. Everyone show up, in all the ways you can.
Empire weaponizes perfectionism to stoke fear and condition people into inaction. We then take those messages and internalize them to think it is we who are not enough. There is no such thing as a perfect way to show up. There is no one way to show up.
Whenever they ask for my name anywhere, whether to call when my order is ready or at restaurants when they need to call out that it’s my turn, I tell them that my name is “Palestine.”
