For sure! I think it has a lot more to do with how infrequently I see them around here? I may even venture a guess that, on average, I see more Gen 1 examples most days.

The MT CR-Z was a little cheaper - this would be the model that I’d assume best-matches a “no options” Prelude with the eCVT. The Civic Hybrid it’s based on in the States starts in the low-mid $30s depending on trim, so in my head I’m guessing the Prelude will be $35-37k before destination?
IIRC, didn’t it have more in common with the Jazz/Fit than the Civic? It was such a weird mix bag of parts. Also - checked on the pricing. The 2016 EX-L with the CVT was $25,090, about $33,800 today. They’d be in about the same ballpark!

Sorry I usually forget about that one! I meant the Pro, which gets the bigger battery and the new motor. The charge curve is halfway decent and the standard equipment is nice for the price. You just have to deal with that silly dashboard. Otherwise, yeah, Equinox LT is the no-brainer.
They’ve been impossible to find on dealer lots, especially in lower/normal trims and configurations. I know I’m an insane person, but I really like them!

New Continentals on the Maverick today. Switched from ProContact TRs (OEM) to CrossContact LX25s. Better performance in the wet and snow were major factors, also hoping for improved tire noise.
