When I was looking and applying not long ago, I encountered Netflix doing this. I applied anyhow. Why not? I was shipping dozens of applications a day as it was. Ironically Netflix included a desired salary question. Well hell yes I want that top end 900k/yr. I never got a response, of course.
This is becoming more common. and its a tantrum. Netflix really went for it. In states where the salary range has to be posted, a ridiculous unrealistic range will be posted. Just out of malicious compliance. Gotta ask yourself, Is this who you want to work for?

Mileage wise - theres just no real way around it when you have miles to make and a wind in your teeth. My 2000 harley has a 103" 120 HP.motor and a carb. busting open that throttle make it real thirsty. and the tank is shocklingly small for such a big bike. So find the speed. Highest gear. chug chug
You can do sheepskins, air hawk bladder, beaded seat cover. But nothing beats having a custom seat made just for your unique ass. You will probably find some real good, inexpensive makers in the eastern block countries - poland, the slavias, etc.
Theres no getting away from tired and sore on a long run. drop a couple aleve in the morning. drop a couple more at night. It helps. Also stock seats are abysmal. made for style and fitting "the greatest number of people" - eaning no one is comfortable
