Yes to Ashley’s whole post! 90% of the reason I learned to sew was because I had a few shirts from Old Navy that I loved but were not really wearable anymore. I took apart the seams and traced the pieces onto better fabric. Boom, way higher quality versions of my fave tops! Highly recommend.

reminder if you don’t know, don’t cut your sewing patterns! trace them! have patterns you really love? trace them onto pattern paper, or even just cardstock. laminate them at the teacher store! also: support small pattern creators! learn to draft patterns! deconstruct your old clothes!
