I’m a high school senior juggling school, cross-country, college apps… and rejection stings. Like Ahab, it’s easy to obsess over what we can’t control.
Captain Ahab? Obsessed with certainty and revenge. He dies trying to control the uncontrollable. Moral: chasing certainty can destroy you.
Ishmael, the narrator of Moby-Dick, tries to answer everything—why whales are white, why life is the way it is. But every answer just leads to more questions.

I would love to reach a broader audience (especially to the middle/right leaning audience) because the story explains a key reason as to why we need campaign finance reform. The only way reform can happen right now is if both sides of the aisle come together to address this issue.
