It kind of supports homebrew MORE because of the math. You can actually use said math in your homebrew and make homebrew thats appropriate for the level you want! Its really nice!

Another neat thing about #pathfinder is how easy it is to homebrew stuff. Ive always done a lot of homebrew before but its really nice to have guidelines and useful advice that the game gives you! Feesl way better than blindly hoping a custom item or feat cant be abused or useless

There was an entire NPC sheet already done for me! I edited the name, changed a skill or two around and I was done. No need for me to fill out a sheet from scratch or think up of ideas for abilities. They were already created and I could edit them as I needed. It saved me a lot of time!
Can't say too much cause my players follow me and there's some surprises. But a good example is a Scholar character I was looking to help assist the players in a mission. Not a combat character, but maybe a supportive one. So I imported the Astronomer from the NPC Core book in Foundry.

Another thing I love about DMing Pathfinder, is that the NPC Core book makes it REALLY easy to create NPCs. They have entire categories of NPCs with different archetypes under them. Grab an archetype that you like, rename them, maybe make a couple of edits. And you're done! Its saves SO much time
