there's something so magical about drawing something, and then physically printing it; being able to touch and feel what you created
i dont like this one but ill show it eitherway; i dont know well how to control darker values, hard to read + foliage is still a biatch

ah yea i had to do the same when going to venezuela but no problemo i love most to travel around with bike or whatnot just passingn regular ordinary places to see waht life is like there you also meet the most friendly folk in outskirts rather than urban/touristey areas
this year especially ive been going to a lotta places i think for me travelling is one of my most important/favorite things to do, i love love seeing new things arhfhf though i mostly remain within europe so i dont need a visa + is cheap

genuinly yes i saw someone walking around with them a while ago (techwear type pants) and guhhh i love it could never see myself wearing that thoigh feels like id look silly
oh its just something that happens naturally cus its such a low resolution, so jt looks squiggly due to low pixel count i usually just put an outline layer filer/style around my whole drawing, i often draw lineart with textured/grainy brushes so that amplifies 'squiggliness'
mostly doodles and irl stuff, a lotta british geezers here in other news my left ear is blocked and am practically deaf on one side which is incredibly disorienting and annoying awrooo

its awesome honestly; if i discovered this game as a kid, i would be MESMERIZED by it; i alwyas always loved exploring and finding hidden areas, and being like 'ohhh how can i go here' and argh damn i would have loved that game
yea exactly thats a good way of putting it; it blends fore-background together, and mushes out the details; although they look striking
hmm i prefer the 2nd one, its very striking and 'powerful', theres also a beautiful chemistry between all colours; only thing is that the details get drowned out and the back-foreground blend into eachother 2nd one gives me 'highly polluted wastelands at sunset' vibes
the power of colors! thats why though i feel sometimes coloring can 'degrade' the line-art i make up, as it can muffle down all the details, but it works well here

something a bit different; i also got some neat tips with grayscale and value work from lio; ive been fucking around with colors for this thing for HOURS but i will just put it to rest and release it to the wild, theres a few alts i like too, this is one of them;

i never use guidelines! i always eyeball perspective; this does mean its not always 'correct' (ie; the left building's perspective is wrong) but it makes it look more natural i also like to distort and warp things, twist and bend walls; i dislike 'perfect-straight-correct' perspectives
this drawing specifically was half inspired by @/alariko, and half by "Tekkonkinkreet" generally i mostly use pinterest for refs, but i also roam around google maps, especially for urban themes i also really like just scale, and 'big things', think something like the game "inside" or "naissancee"
