As if being biracial was just not an option. Again lots to unpack.
On one hand these films exist, on the other they were decades apart and rarely recognized, with that exception of Pinky. Which was not about a thriving biracial woman, but about one who was basically told stop being white so you can be fulfilledā¦
But I have to agree that these films existing seems more rare than something that became a popular movie theme until more recently, like Devil in a Dress, Passing, but again neither got a single Oscar nomination
