For those in the comments claiming that the man on the ground had a weapon...where do you see that. Because what I see in the video is the police officer drawing his own weapon, threatening the suspect, and re-holstering his own weapon...after nearly 'giving it' to the suspect during the scuffle.
That 'officer' should be fired and prosecuted. The video captures an either/or situation. Either you have your weapon out - at a safe distance - giving commands and following the force continuum, OR you go hands-on. NOT BOTH. This is absolutely how people get killed. Inexcusable.
