This synergizes even better with the alternate commander, Szarel. Stack 2 1/1 counters on another creature for each land sac'd, and then play those X lands from your graveyard if you want... And if you have Horizon Explorer (incl. in precon) in play, those lands come in untapped. Good rec!

Yeah, I find Newsom to be mostly appalling, but his redistricting effort is good thing and while I hate it personally there are many ppl (incl. my spouse) who are responding positively to his new Trump-trolling campaign on the socials. We need to embrace the "all of the above" strategy.
