Looks unlikely they find someone before the deadline, so Guehi deal may not go through. Depending on how things go next 4 months, we may get him even cheaper in Jan, as Palace clearly don't want to lose him on free. Knowing they always wanted money for him and still left it so late is odd

Must say, if we manage to complete Guehi deal, it will a historic transfer window for Liverpool. Never seen anything like this ever before. Of course, it does not mean automatic success, but I would hope for good few years for the club and all the supporters. #LFC

Its weird to see lot of relief among LFC supporters, once the NUFC transfer was confirmed tdy. Relief for me too, won't lie. But waiting on Guehi updates, really hoping it goes through. I have a feeling that some desperate transfer business is about to unfold in the coming days. #LFC
One thing we learned from last season, qualifying to knock outs is all that matters. There is technically no guarantee you can avoid so cake top teams based on group stage ranking or performance. Though it will help with the prize money. Expect all PL teams to qualify looking at that draw

Other impressive things about him are that he stays in the game, link up play is really good, needs to bulk up a little physically, but totally agree, he has hit the ground running, unlike other new boys

Konate been poor again and got bit lucky. Wirtz is struggling again with PL pace and physicality. Sobo and VVD were excellent in first half. Would put extra body in the midfield, Endo to come on around 65 min mark, assuming we are still in the lead. Not great so far, but a goal/man up #LFC
I see few more similar tackles in the second half ..
With all the narrative before the game, red card was always highly likely in the game .. poor challenge that. #LFC

No proper RB on the pitch today, need Konate to be on top of his game, which hasn't been the case off late. Massive game for Jones, wherever he plays, can not be too slow on the ball. Same goes for Wirtz, won't have too much time to dwell on the ball. Kerkez needs to clam down a bit. #LFC
No matter who plays as RB, it will be tough against Gordon. Jones/Sobo/Gravenberch anybody's guess ... Midfield looks bit light as well, with 4 up top.
LFC and City have not done well shoring up their defense and will be an issue for them this season. Arsenal, on the other hand, already had excellent defense, needed to get better on offense, and did well to sign a few good players.
I don't think 4-2-3-1 is good idea today. Usual 4-3-3 feels more logical just to have more bodies in the midfield. NUFC has good physical midfield, so need to counter that somehow. Tough game for sure, hopeing to see more pragmatic approach by Slot/players. #LFC
I think NUFC sign at least one striker next week, won't be enough to let Isak move, plus huge deals are complicated, so not enough time left. If no Isak, doubt anybody else will be signed. Most likely, would be Guehi and we need someone in defense as well
Come Tuesday morning if Isak does not hand in transfer request, it's pretty much over. Even if he requests transfer, it could be too late. If he stays at NUFC, for the sake of football, hope he gets back into the team and performs well (except against us). #LFC

The way our defending has been, feels like Guehi one is more pressing and urgent. Hopefully it happens next week, though agree Palace may drag it till the last day before deciding whether to cash out or let him go free next summer.

A few things noted from today's performances... Konate had terrible game, Kerekez need to clam down a bit, Szobo had mixed game, Ekitike looked great again, Wirtz was good on the ball but got bullied a bit physically. Early season frailties, I would think. Too open defensively #LFC

Glad we won, really tough game and quite open defensively when leading by two. Don't agree totally with your point. We need to sort our defense, it's not been great since February, cost us CL, League final etc.

Agree to an extent. Bajcetic is an interesting one, let's seehe gets any mins. There are definitely few games/teams in the league who roll us purely on physicality. So need to plan for that
This is as one-sided as it can really get at this level Inter have about 15 mins at the start of second half to score, else this game is just about done. PSG scoring again is more likely than Inter getting back into this tbh

Quansah situation will depend heavily on what Konate does this summer. Need to extend contact or leave Konate form has dipped in the second half, so definitely, things are on his mind Quansah form has dipped even more, but tbh has not played enough and regularly.
Can see a draw between Forest and Chelsea. If Villa wins, which is highly possible against poor ManU, they will take the 5th spot.

Agree that left wing is not really a burning situation right now, so unlikely that we see anybody moving out/in. Not super convinced though with Diaz, he started well, went missing, and now finishing well. Gakpo is more consistent but injury prone. Would be glad if he gets pay upgrade though
