Why the rifles? I thought they were allowed to carry "sidearms" for "personal protection". How did that turn into assault rifles? I believe that the President and his enablers are trying to stiry up violent confrontations in the streets to justify martial law throughout the country. STOP THE COUP!

...of course, a boxer was involved!
Alfred Poor (@alfredpoor.bsky.social) reply parent
My fear is that this is what the President (or his enablers) want: blood in the streets and an excuse for martial law everywhere. We must resist, but we must do so with caution and reason, and not allow ourselves to be goaded into violent confrontation. πππ STOP THE COUP! πππ

Here are the rapists, murderers, drug dealers, and gang members that the President wants to deport, ignoring any due process that is their right. At least he is targeting "the worst of the worst." [I wonder how many were born here, and are actually US citizens....] www.npr.org/2025/08/31/n...

One month to federal government shutdown. βββ Vote NO on any CR! βββ The Republicans and the President cannot be trusted. They renege on their word, withholding or withdrawing funding that was approved by Congress. Stand strong. I'd rather have some pain now than more pain later. STOP THE COUP!

Real scientists are already leaving the U.S. More importantly, many foreign scholars who would have joined and led labs in this country aren't even coming. The President's actions have set scientific research back by decades and you can't regain that ground quickly.

That's a great word. But most people don't know what it means. I didn't. Language exists to communicate thought. It can be done imperfectly but the point can still make it across. I believe that the President and his enablers are trying to overthrow our government. I think "coup" covers that.
