Also, it's no surprise that the people in office who are able to properly address the trans community are actively standing up for many other marginalized communities and promoting their rights in office. Pramila Jayapal is the perfect example.
I'm here for a candidate that changes the narrative by having their own conversations, rather than a reaction to bad faith propaganda. I really hope he does some simple ground work that the Dems can build off of, rather than stay away from the topic altogether.
Asking for inclusion isn't perfection, it's the bare minimum. I'm not here to purity test the movement into nothing. I'm asking for a political party to stand their ground, learn the bare minimum about our community, and show support with their chest. It's not hard. It's been done before.

At one point I looked into donating because I was thinking of what blood bags they would be giving to trans people, and from what I understand, hormones in blood donations don't actually have much impact and so giving and receiving blood isn't strictly sex segregated. But I'm no professional.
