This is a fallacy. The most banned book in 2024 was All Boys Are Blue by George M. Johnson, which released in 2020. For the two years prior, it was Gender Queer by Maia Kobabe, which came out in 2019. Not all banned books are old. More than half of the reported removed ones came out in this century.
