I would be too, if I thought they were making an informed choice. But the British media feeds them a steady stream of disinformation and bias. It's hard to seek out balance if this is all you've known.

Latest YouGov Westminster Voting Intentions poll: The SNP remains most popular by far in Scotland (actually most popular by far in any nation); Labour just pips first in Wales; and Reform well in front in England. Shame only England decides who gets to govern the UK.

In Scotland our Government has implemented Wellbeing policies that have significantly reduced child poverty: and invested in public transport. We could go much further, but it needs all the powers - that will only come when we're independent.

What I think you're describing is the English establishment. It tries to poke its head in here but is mostly kept at bay. British governments are inevitably part of it - whatever their background and starting beliefs, the people who succeed within it accept that.

Online petitions have their place, but it can be much more effective to take the time to personally write to your MP, in your own words. They have to deal with every communication, even if you get a copy and paste reply. Not sure of their email? Start here πŸ‘‡ www.theyworkforyou.com

Not my twitter. If I dip in now its a thousand times worse than when I ditched for here. Yes, there's the occasional no-bio troll that loses its way - but no adverts, no pressure to subscribe, and no heavy handed algorithm. It's like coming back to Radio 3 after a trip to GHR.
