This year the winners so far are Sinners and KPop Demon Hunters respectively. Last year it was Challengers and Dune Part Two. Sometimes both categories are filled by the same movie (see 2022 with Everything Everywhere All At Once).
Every year, I set aside two films for two categories. One I consider to be the best film of the year in terms of craftsmanship. The other is what I consider to be the most fun or entertaining of the year. 1/2

I doubt he’ll win the nomination considering he’s proven himself to not have any principles he meaningfully stands by compared to, say, Beshear or Pritzker. He’ll fizzle out in the Iowa or New Hampshire (whatever state comes first in 2028 idk) caucuses and lose all relevance.
Just putting this out there, but if Newsom is the nominee in 2028 I won’t be voting for him. Democrats are not entitled to my vote by the sole merit of not being as bad as Republicans; they have earn it by proving they deserve it. And I don’t feel he deserves my vote. Sorry.

Golden has an infectious triplet rhythm going on, What It Sounds Like resonates with me very strongly, while Free, How It’s Done, Your Idol, and Takedown all translate to EDM well… but Soda Pop doesn’t have anything like that.
Soda Pop is just way too bubbly for me (haha). There’s also not a lot for me to work off of in terms of remixing.

One of my favorite “new” bands (new to me specifically) to listen to is Sleep Theory. They’re very reminiscent of Hybrid Theory and Meteora era Linkin Park. And the lead singer is a black guy, so that’s cool.

I’m unable to find any confirmation from anyone who actually worked on the movie, and I hesitate to take random articles and people on the internet at their word.
BUT! The movie really needed like an extra twenty minutes or so.
I actually decided to double check what I claimed because I don’t like spreading misinformation and I can’t find anything to indicate that it was the case so… Oops!
On their own they’re great characters but their relationship is definitely underdeveloped (as is the third act). I lay the blame for this on Sony for cutting the runtime down from three hours to ninety minutes.

Seen a lot of libs in the replies taking offense to his rhetoric, which I find strange. They seem to have a dogmatic reverence for the party. No one is allowed to criticize the Dems for being ineffectual opposition because that’s “helping the fascists”.
I’m generally skeptical when religious authorities claim to be accepting because it tends to be shrouded in “hate the sin, love the sinner”; a tenuous, hesitant, superficial acceptance that still ultimately condemns us as needing fixing. Let’s see if he walks the walk like he talks the talk.

Unfortunately, much like Dune, Frankenstein is one of those books that people claim they have read because they think watching one of the adaptations counts as reading the book. It doesn't. There is so much nuance in those books that are glossed over in the adaptations that NEEDS to be experienced
There’s something about having a ludicrous amount of money that like flips a switch in your brain and makes you unable to be in touch with normal people.
And the other side? Jury’s still out on whether they support my continued existence or whether they’ll throw me and others like me to the wolves if they deem it politically “convenient”.
One of the biggest red flags for me is genuinely saying that we should “listen to both sides” in the current political climate. One side wants to see me die. I don’t want to “hear them out”.
