I'm talking about buying a gun. Someone is much more likely to be shot if guns are legal. Making it illegal to buy a gun across all 50 states makes it a lot harder for someone to get ahold of one and thus shoot someone with it.
I mean if it's illegal in one state, someone can just go to a state where it's legal and purchase it there. That's why it needs to be illegal in all 50 states.

I agree. While he is more cunning & smarter than Trump (not saying much, I know) not all MAGA's will follow him & some will retaliate against some of his policies (especially if it differs even slightly from Trump's). So he'll have a small loyal following, but more people pushing against him.
It should be like this in all 50 states. Because what's stopping someone from going to a state which doesn't have these regulations and purchasing a gun there?

Those of you who do podcasts, I have a question. I have a video series on TikTok & Youtube. How do I get the audio from those videos and get it to somewhere like Spotify? Can that even be done? Or would I have to re-record everything as an audio file? My videos are typically 20-30 min.

Maybe do a pre order for larger sizes, so you know how much to order. And people can do a half now half later (when the orders come in) for payment. That way, even if they don't pay the second half you at least didn't lose out completely. Just a suggestion.

In a nutshell, in this clip alone, Deanna Troi could have easily yelled at Barclay (the man) fir interrupting her vacation & showing up announced. She would have been w/in her right, but what impact would that have had. Instead, she took the time to listen when she saw how distressed he was.

No. Impact is more important than intent. Your intentions can be good, but it's your impact that matters. If it has a negative impact (despite good intentions) than you are in the wrong. I'm not saying you need to apologize. I'm saying that the impact of what you said came across as brash.
That's why they're reaching out for guidance. And you are well within your right to express your opinion. Like I said before, the problem isn't what you said, it's how you said it/how you came across.
But there's a different way of saying it. Just because you think something doesn't mean you should necessarily say it. Ex. You hate somone's haircut. You shouldn't say "Oh, that haircut looks awful on you". In other words, don't be my grandma ๐

The issue isn't with what you said. It's how you said it. What you probably meant was that you don't think she's trans. Maybe that these are normal thoughts people have. But saying that someone is overthinking something is invalidating, especially when someone is trying to navigate their identity.

Exactly what I was thinking. I'm cis but a tomboy. I prefer a pants suit over dresses but am ok wearing them. I love minimal makeup over a glam look. As a kid, I was always playing with the boys on the playground rather than sitting & chatting with the girls. I prefer sporty attire over preppy. Etc

I'm sorry that happened to you. I don't have one near where I live, but my dad lives in Florida and we would go whenever I went to visit him. But after that overt discrimination, I won't set foot in there again. If I want to go out to breakfast that bad, I'll go elsewhere.
