So this is what Lemmings was about.
He hacked into government records by befriending tangerine Palpatine and paying hackers he named things like “big balls,” not by being smart. He didn’t make his money by being smart, either. He inherited it and uses it to invest in things that usually fail.
Elon’s an idiot. He accomplishes very little of what he sets out to do, and I don’t think he accomplished this. I’m not quick to jump on the “rigged election” bandwagon, because there doesn’t appear to be significant evidence of that. There really are that many dumb people in America.

What makes you think field corn and soy beans are the only crops this affects? Even if it were, there are an astounding array of byproducts food ingredients from those. But how about dairy, eggs, meat, and vegetable crops?
A bit simplistic. The farm I grew up on paid me almost nothing, and is no longer in business. Large farms may be able to absorb some costs, but small family farms usually cannot. Also keep in mind that farms grow your food. What happens when they can’t afford to do that any more?

Reminds me of when I was 18 or so and I was working riding with a guy in a box truck for a dairy supply business servicing area farms. We were at a dairy with some pet goats, and one goat kept climbing into the truck. Folding the steps up didn’t help, and we had to keep physically pushing it out.
