I've been in the entertainment business for 30 years and thus interacted with dangerously dumb, opportunistic assholes in my life and not once did a pistola to the neck seem a logical way to handle them. Stop fucking shooting people. The internet is at peak stupid. We should all log off.

My grandfather always had a garden and always made pickles. His parting words to anyone he knew during the late summer was, "do you need any pickles" I carried on his recipe after he passed and currently provide pickles to all who need them. And even had his hand written recipe put right on my arm.

The nice thing about living at the very end of our neighborhood is that no one else can hear the soothing sounds of Slayer coming from our patio.
I used to roller skate in brown corduroy pants and a sleeveless Men at Work tshirt and it was wonderful. The roller rink of my youth used to have a speed skate and they would play Ballroom Blitz by Sweet and it was like a pre teen version of Thunderdome.
I can see it now, the audience trying to figure out if Love Gun isn't actually about the 2nd Amendment.

Well go figure...I did nothing to this brisket except trim and rub. No wrap, 16 hours at 225, rest in foil for 2 hours. It was one of the best I've ever made. All the meat juices followed by all the meat sweats.
Pretty awesome morning in northwest Wisconsin on this fine Sunday. After 16 hours, the brisket appears edible, but we won't know until the 2 hour rest.
Ahh brisket...spending $70 to babysit a piece of meat for 14 or so hours in the hopes that it doesn't turn into shoe leather. We meet again my meat nemesis.

I don't particularly care--nor should the Democrats--whether or not protecting trans people is popular in the heartland. Even if it alienates the "moderates," it's the right thing to do, and the Democrats should make every effort to do it. Sometimes what the people need is to be led and not lead.

I had a ridiculous amount of cassettes that I replaced with CDs. Then I ripped all of my CDs to our PC. Now I have a bunch of vinyl again. I wish I would have saved my cassettes and CDs though. You never know when you may need that casingle of Love is on the Way by Saigon Kick.
A long time ago on the Iowa State fairgrounds, Screaming Trees played Lollapalooza and they absolutely killed it. At the time, paying $4 for water or a glass of warm PBR seemed ridiculous. It was so hot, my face blistered from sunburn....all completely worth it.
