This convo I had highlights the difference in what "respect your time" means in games. A lot of players want to trade time for in-game progress. It's purely transactional: 1 hour = 1 progress But I want to feel like my actions matter i.e. what I do with time creates progress, not time itself.
maybe it sounds dumb to say but that you can walk up to your ship and hit triangle to warp to the cockpit instead of having to go in and get to it every time is like... you don't understand the fantasy you're pitching!!

After a lot of time spent this weekend, the system is almost completely functional. It calcs cap chance (based on LV, HP, Dist, Aware) & has a fail state. In the future, needs more camera angles and animations. Also missing the part where you compare stats afterward. #CherubDev #UE5 #GameDev
