Dad's side of the family are East Midlands folk, so they've been a fixture since birth. As with seeing the dragons this side of the border, a part of my soul rests when seeing them. The again, traffic gridlock at Stoke has been a fixture too & there's comfort there for no-one!

I didn't really care when I saw they were tearing down Broadmarsh (like a lot of people, I think I actually cheered) - & I spent a fair amount of time there. R-o-S, though, seems different. It's an odd landmark on the horizon that doesn't look out of place. It's a totem of homecoming.
