When I first moved to Indonesia I was caught in the September 19 KPK protests. That was a protest, not yet a riot. still I was tear-gassed, cars were burning, shots were fired. So much rage at inequality and potential for violence. I can’t imagine what it is like now & pray for people to stay safe.
