It's even more embarrassing in this case because SEGA literally owns Joker, so him looking worse here than when he was a guest in a Nintendo game is, well, yeah.
Crossovers aren't even a new concept for Sonic racing games, and they've been done a lot better in previous ones. So I'm not entirely sure what happened here.
It's really jarring seeing how much love and care's gone into most of the game and especially the main cast, while Joker in contrast feels half-baked with no voice acting and animations like this.

It'd eventually need animations, but for now at least, the model having a rig would be super helpful.

I'm aiming to use Godot, which I started learning earlier this year.
The game's name isn't locked in yet, I've just been using the main character's name (Calico Wilder) as a title for now.

The same thing happened to me my first time playing PEAK. I've never wandered off on my own since. XD
Deleted my post from last night since I briefly thought I was gonna have to re-record everything (I fortunately won't have to), but all my lines for the Mario Kart video have been recorded! And the raw audio (goof-ups included, granted) came to a total length of 1 hour and 26 minutes. Oh boy.

Update, the script's done for the new video! I'll get to recording my lines for it soon enough, and then begins editing. It's a pretty long script though, so I suspect it'll be a bit before this video's done and out.
I think it’s sad when you can tell that someone loves everything about a game but they try to force a “critique” so that people don’t call them out for being anti-criticism.
