Ahh!! advanced rigging isn’t jus for posing it’s got stuff like facial expressions, fingers and hands moving, extra controls for hair and sometimes stretchy bits so animations look wayyy smoother.... Basically you just get way more control than with a basic rig!!!

Ahh, gotcha. In that case, an advanced rig would be more ideal.
