For all those enthusiastically suggesting this, please consider that each Smithsonian museum displays only 3-5% of their collections at any given time, so there is 95-97% off-site in storage. Moving to preserve would be a monumental task & expensive!
And that doesn’t include the need for special air/moisture requirements for storage of the records/artifacts. There are warehouses & vaults housing these items, largely in undisclosed locations, & so many are priceless & insured against loss.
That is a great idea, but do you know how many artifacts/records we’re talking abt? At any museum, only 3-5% of those collections are on display at a given moment, if that helps you understand the volume we’re talking abt.
The US Constitution does bot give him that power, but the legislative & judicial branches that own the country right now will, so the question is: How do we respond to them, bc the changes will come b4 11/2026?
