Fixed the movie was pretty good, a bit raunchy and odd, the dog buttholes and scrotums were weird. But the plot was good, the animation was classic Genndy, you could particularly see it on the cat scene shots. The cast was good. Some jokes were odd. But overall it was a good movie.

This is only if the induction stoves are actually high quality ones that cost more. The ones landlords will install in the housing most people will be forced to live in because of the artificially constrained housing market by boomers won’t be good enough to actually cook as well as gas stoves.

If Microsoft actually wants to make more halo worthwhile, they need to fully commit to it. Not just gobble up studios then destroy them because they spent too much buying them in the first place with no plans to actually do anything with them.

Passion and a vision alone doesn’t a good game make. 343 has been decimated, much of the engine development and beyond was outsourced to contractors. Now the studio was rebranded and is being rebuilt as Halo Studios. The bungie crew already knew what would happen to 343.

28/8/2025, 10:49:29 PM | 0 0 | View on Bluesky | view

343 was actually borne out of the development for a canceled game, a separate team not made up of bungie employees.

There’s actually a very good reason why they didn’t join up and it goes back to how Microsoft insiders became the studio managers for bungie in their Microsoft days, then deliberately screwed then out of their shares and got rid of them. There was also terrible crunch during halo 2 development.

On the same day the FDA restricted access to COVID vaccines, the CDC director was sacked and top CDC scientists are resigning. And it’s barely been two weeks since an antivax conspiracy theorist fired 180 bullets at CDC headquarters. None of this is making America healthier. What a disaster.

Right but protected classes is about discrimination law outside of health insurance. The ACA laws currently explicitly prohibit discrimination based on preexisting conditions. Unless scotus strikes that down it remains the law of the land.

Can’t states allow pharmacies to give people shots based on other agency or professional organization approvals like the AMA? If they do, then will insurance be forced to cover it as preventative medicine?

Last I checked preexisting conditions were not allowed to be discriminated against. Why does this list change that?

Today according to court documents, a good prosecutor can indict a ham sandwich, but they cannot indict biologically powered kinetic salami sub projectile propulsion systems integrated into hop sapiens.

Along with everything that's led up to this point, this does not bode well for science in the US. Whatever vaccine and/or autism disinformation JFK Jr is about to release must be more vile than anyone could have had nightmares about.

Producing deepfakes is banned in a number of states too. The guy is making a stupid legal argument at best.

They absolutely can ban using it commercially. The theft company is operating a giant grift. If companies can’t grift more money, they’ll stop pushing it all so hard and burning the planet to create bullshit generators. The whole “we can’t ban b/c tech company said so” is dumb.
