You notice that Trump and Republicans didn't go crazy when the white guy in Billings, Montana, walked into a bar and killed four people.

You need as many people as possible to vote for Democrats. It's pretty simple. If Democrats can't get elected, the country is pretty much done. The strategy that excludes people and calls them "imbecilic fools" doesn't seem to be working.

It seems way past time for the big name medical research hospitals (Mayo, Johns Hopkins, Massachusetts General, Cleveland Clinic, MD Anderson, St. Jude, etc.) to band together and go public about the implications of medical research disappearing, including highlighting patient stories.

Totally unsubstantiated take--I think Patel knows he is in over his head and is uncomfortable in the role. I thought I read that he wanted an experienced career staff as his #2 and got Bongino instead.
I saw some polling where people think that if the government made a mistake sending him to El Salvador, they should bring him back. He is a sympathetic figure and it's a pretty simple case of right and wrong that people can relate to.
Let's not forget withholding lifesaving nourishment from starving, impoverished infants.
