Some time ago, I raised the issue with my MP, who made contact with UK dept of trade. In a nutshell, they said they couldn't force retailers to be proactively transparent but that legally they should respond if I ask them what the country of origin is. I chose not to thank them for that advice. 🤦🏽♂️

You may be surprised to learn that I too looked at the product details and found no such information. Sometimes it's there, sometimes not. I'd like to be able to search on that criteria but I can't do so if it's not routinely presented as a distinct and consistent attribute.

Round about 2007, the Tyneside Cinema closed for a major refurb, so did a few special screenings of odds and sods at various venues in the region. They showed STP at Gateshead Town Hall. We'd already seen it on the telly but it was a treat to binge it on the silver screen. What a cast! 📷 📽️🎞️
