The insta-block is the most underrated cultural feature of Bluesky, imo. Outsiders will continue to say that we’re creating a bubble, but that’s mostly sour grapes from people who want to abuse civility to propagate disinformation.

I use Listification so that I get notifications. I had someone on Threads who kept blocking me and then unblocking me to drop turds in my timeline. If someone blocks me, now, I block them back so that we never have to see each other again.
