My current car is a foot wider than my first car from 40 years ago. If all cars have grown this much then there's two foot less road width to use. Greater care is needed in bends and with on coming traffic

I'm currently on 16th August for the proms if you're wondering why I've not been posting about them. It's kinda slipped away from me. I only want to listen when I can give it at least 3/4 of my attention.
Stage 1 of ratatouille in the slow cooker. I'm now sweating the onions, garlic, swede and carrots ready for the soup. Feels like I've been chopping up veg for HOURS!
18 meals to cook today. 6 ratatouilles 6 vegetable moussakas 6 carrot & swede soups. Do I have enough pans? 🤔

Mom would have been 72 today. She wanted a big family garden party for her 66th which I always thought was a weird one to make a fuss of. It was a happy day with kids, grandkids and great-grandkids. I've got a really lovely video of Uncle Jimmy singing away. 🥰 Nobody knew that would be her last.
