Oh it's very stressful. There were quite a few times I thought he was going to hit a car. Outwardly I look as calm as a lake. Inwardly I'm freaking out. LOL

Big city driving is a whole different animal. Couple years ago I drove to New York for a wedding. I got into Manhattan just as rush hour was beginning. I learned quickly that if I wasn't aggressive. Everybody was going to cut me off. They leave no room between bumpers when driving.

That's really great. My nephew had great improvement on day two. I'll be taking them out tomorrow. Yesterday we spent an hour driving all over one subdivision so he feels too familiar with that subdivision and wants to go to a different one tomorrow. I said not a problem.

It's an absolute disaster. That's why so many cops do the wrong thing. It's not necessarily their fault if they're not given the training and knowledge that they need to do the job.
If this is interesting and I can see where it has some benefits. Allowing two students with differing viewpoints and different parts of the country to have a conversation, to me. Seems like a good idea. Teaches them how to be respectful and have good dialogue.
The United States has the lowest requirement to become a police officer of all of Europe. All you need is a GED and about 21 weeks of training. Most European countries require 3 years of training.

My nephew really improved on day two, so I'm feeling pretty confident that his driving skills are going to be great. His problem right now is being too worried and nervous. I told him it's just a car. If it gets bumped or scratched it's no big deal. It can be fixed.
