The first Dead Rising game immediately came to mind because you’re constantly working against the clock to try and do everything and unless you’re using a guide it’s very hard to do and you basically had to play it a few times before you understood that was the fun of the game and not the flaw
Watching this and I think it’s a good prompt: what videogames stressed you out in either a good (as in that’s the design of the game) or bad way?
I bet you also told people who first used the paintbrush that they weren’t “real artists” doing “real art” just because they weren’t doing cave paintings and were instead inputting commands into a computer giving them blandly acceptable results while doing no work themselves and holding a paintbrush

Poor design choice because one of the things is literally “would you rather go to city A or city B, they are both equally good” but then one locks you out of the best ending, which makes it so some people will use a walkthrough which defeats the point of a game where you make lots of little choices
My biggest complaint with the game is that there is a golden ending and the way to achieve it involves decisions that seem somewhat arbitrary and incoherent, all the other endings are a different flavor of bittersweet but I did find the one I got to be thematically appropriate
Yo this is out now for Xbox and PS5 and if you like FF Tactics I would definitely give it a try, it’s a great game that deserves more love
