I love how the story of Adam and Eve is so often taken literally as "don't ask questions, just accept God" and yet she has faith and education together. What type of education, girly? 'Cuz as someone whose read the Bible, I guarantee these people never have.
Depends on the context. As a survivor of human trafficking (slavery) both I and all of my peers still trapped deserve second chances. Or even first chances. But many people think we don't. I do think survivors are owed that, but the abuser (who always gets more chances and excuses) does not.
The biggest issue with polyamory is not just how people don't understand it and don't want to, but that in western culture we are very self-centric and so many don't understand the concept of love in a non-sexual way. Asexual polyamory can be really beautiful. Love doesn't have to be horny and weird

As someone who managed to escape a slavery situation, the "live and let live" and "it's none of my business" so often is the reason cycles of abuse continue. I remember begging for help as a child to anyone who would listen and never got it because it "wasn't their business."
And concentration camps should be nowhere! Imagine if we could actually learn from history instead of repeating it over and over. Side note, I once heard a man call indigenous people "expats" and I think that might have been the dumbest man alive. I just wanted to share because... how?!

Leaving a cult is hard. It means leaving behind everything you believe, coming to grips with reality, realizing your own traumas as well as the trauma you've inflicted on others, and oftentimes walking away from the people you love and all you've known. It's a truly evil cult, but I'm proud of him.

My friend, this is unfortunately not just a problem with white folk. Bigotry and outdated BS circulates within all races and exists in cycles, so we need to crack down on the root of the problem: bigotry. Good people who are against hateful thinking standing together is the best hope we have.
