The Gaza situation is insane! I just think it’s easier for everyone if we talk about the issues in categories. If we place every issue in the same basket, we end up solving no problems and just end up circle back and starting over again and again. It just isn’t helpful, imo.

Sure, but no point in burying it without first trying. California has been historically effective at circumventing and working around federal policies that go against the wants/needs of Californians. Like them or not, they know how to work around federal policy.
The democrats are not perfect, I don’t know an any person let alone any group of human that is. They are in desperate need a good old brawl amongst each other to finally figure out who and what they actually stand for. I just don’t believe it rises to the level of malicious. Maybe inept, lazy?

Can’t argue with you there, it would be nice if EVERYONE could have what they need irrespective of party affiliation. I, personally, nor do I know anyone who does, do not know if any way to convince red state officials to get on board with providing for their own constituents
The primary goal would be to make sure that states whose rights and access to certain goods are actively being restricted by the federal government are still able to get what the communities within those states need.
So, my answering in short, is yes, I do support blue states banding together to pool resources, and maximize access to other states that actually have power to provide that access. The main problem right now is that the federal government is actively seeking to reduce access.
I am not certain what you can see on your end because of the way blue sky shares reposts, but this original post was in regard to access to vaccines and blue states koala sing together to make sure that more people would have access

I have thought about this too. Local businesses, whether they supported far right causes or not, are learning first hand what far right policies and tariffs do to small businesses. Sad to say, but they may not need to lose our support to find out the hard way.
