We've had dozens, if not hundreds, of fake sob stories about "I have to minecraft myself bc of the wealth tax", and it always turns out they can easily pay or that they don't even pay the tax
It can feel a bit invasive to have open tax lists. Anyone can, in theory, see how much anyone else has paid in taxes. But you have to go through some hoops to check someone, and they will know that you checked.

Honestly I don't think it's smart to have a system where the courts bails out the government by overruling their stupidity. Good short term, but long term just gives Trump someone to blame. The courts should have convicted Trump for his sixteen million different crimes though.

Isn't that a relatively straightforward point? Nazis successfully radicalize people by offering a promise of community to just about anyone. The left can also reach more people by speaking to their self-interest in various ways. Whether to their economic needs, or to their need for belonging.
