Source is we got handed keys to a 44 mile Blazer EV. And our last dealership experience at a different chain every vehicle was an EV offered to customers.
Curious to see if this isn't as a big of a deal as if you get a loaner car from a Chevrolet dealership I'd bet big that they hand you keys to an EV that they are claiming the sale and tax credit on. Then come October and Nov slide customers into a demo model "deal".

All of the documentation in our Bolt EUV basically ends in a big ??? After 10 years. OEMs need to release source code and/or APIs after 10 years if the OEMs aren't going to directly support products. Some vehicles will surely fair better than others in community support.

Didn't even mention it, but randomly with no correlation to anything the radio switch on the back of the steering wheel to switch favorite channels just stops working while driving. Battery issue was wild. Charged to 99% drove <8 miles and reported range dropped to 77%.

You might be able to get creative and charge at a work parking lot on L1, and grab 8+hours. Its basically just a game of always trying to throw some charge in when you can, while doing something else.
Level one charging isn't bad to get through waiting for professional L2 installation at home. That's what we did. Just plug in at all hours. Also look for L3 chargers, that would get you out of a bind between needing to get somewhere further, and not leaving a car somewhere overnight on L2.
Going to guess that vehicle didn't spend most of its time on Michigan roads, or somehow ended up garaged during the winter.
This is towards the end of a thread I had 6 months ago. From the UN standards brake dust of EV is 0.17 i.e. under normal braking, only 17% of the deceleration comes from the brake pads! Real use is probably less, although that does lead to rusty discs etc, so a waste still! bsky.app/profile/matt...

Someone with more time needs to calculate how much less brake dust material is created from regenerative braking. Probably far outweighs any tire issues (as if ICE vehicle tires don't also wear down).
Most Jeep drivers have never experienced 30 MPG so if they can get lease payments in a tolerable monthly payment they'll be fine.
