Yes, so happy for her. We rescued her from a lady who kept her chained to a wall & had bred her every heat since 8 mos of age 💔🤬😭 We're so proud of her transformation. We gave her a year to decompress and just be a house pet. But she loves people, so getting to cuddle all day is a pretty good job!
In a way. We train Wellness/Comfort K9's and donate to Police Departments. She will be a Police K9, just a cuddle dog, not a bitey one. Our dogs provide a valuable emotional support services to officers and crime victims alike.
We're so excited. They have to officially create a position for her but it's a magical pairing

Right? Poor girl! I never heard of that. She lived here for a year while we did her Service Dog training and my goodness did she make noise with her tail when she was excited but I didn't know dogs could hurt their tail tips.😭
Our animal control officers never miss a chance to connect with the community. At the Highland Rescue Open House, they shared tips on animal safety, answered questions, and even made a few new furry friends.
