Analysts estimate humanoid robots might be a $5–$50B market this decade. EVs? $1–$2T. Pivoting from EVs to robots is a huge step down. Tesla as the Android/PC of EVs made sense. Losing to BYD and betting on home robots doesn’t. Only bullish case left is xAI builds AGI and Tesla buys it. Good luck

Interesting article about how London’s PR firms are adjusting to the rise of AI • They are using AI as a productivity tool for research and analysis. • While companies can ask AI to craft social media posts or articles, companies don’t have the expertise to judge the output so their help’s needed.
One way AI has made me more productive is now when some random MAGA reply guy asks me for examples of how conservatives support corrupt or racist policies, it takes a 5 second ChatGPT or Gemini query instead of 5 -10 minutes of writing and Googling.
Talking to my son about college made me realize how much expectations have changed. Boomers could have a good life with a high school diploma. Gen X & Millennials needed a college degree. For Gen Z, no amount of education can guarantee a good life, thanks to AI & Boomer decisions about the economy.
If asked to come up with a way to launder bribes to a politician, it’s hard to beat having them come up with some random cryptocurrency, valuing it at billions then buying a bunch from them. Thankfully this level of corruption doesn’t happen in America. 😇

Earlier today I used ChatGPT Deep Research, it ran for 10 minutes, scanned 35 sites, and generated a multi-page response. Probably burned more compute than a month of casual use. That’s the AI boom in a nutshell, usage exploding faster than costs are dropping. Revenue’s up, profits? Not so much.
