This isn't even a study or analysis, it's just 2 scientists saying their opinions at questions written to be as inflammatory as possible and provide either side with fun quotes to send to people they disagree with. It's to sell newspapers, it's not an actual source for either side of this argument.
This paper literally doesn't even talk about actual trans athlete performance, it just shows top level male athletes vs top level female athletes and then says it's hard to get testosterone levels down, therefore the author believes it's too hard to make it fair with no actual analysis.
